“The Concept of Coma: 60 Comas in an Octave” event prepared by Yiğithan Engin, one of the students of the Department of Turkish Music of the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, and Sait Durgun, a kanun performer and researcher will be held on November 8, 2023 at 11:30 am at Göztepe Kuzey Campus K Block classroom named "ED-K6-2"on 6th floor).
In the talk, alternative approaches to the microtonal structure in Turkish music will be discussed within the scope of local culture and intangible cultural heritage.
