The webinar titled "Inspiring Young Women Musicians", the fifth of the "Women, Identity, Art" series, was hosted by Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, on May 26, 2021 at 18.00 on YouTube. The event was attended by a faculty member of the Turkish Music Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Member Seda Tüfekçioğlu, Asst. Prof. Dr. Deniz Tunçer and Üsküdar University Asst. Prof. Dr.Tuğba Aydın Öztürk participated as a speaker.
The webinar, which started with a comprehensive briefing by Asst. Prof.Tuğba Aydın Öztürk on inspiration and creative thinking in artistic activities, continued with Asst. Prof. Seda Tüfekçioğlu's evaluations about groups composed of important Turkish women artists and their artistic works. In the event, important Turkish female conductors such as Süheyla Altmışdört and Elif Ahıs, important Turkish instrumentalists such as Burcu Karadağ and Didem Başar, soloists such as Yaprak Sayar, groups of important Turkish female artists such as Lotus Istanbul and their artistic works were mentioned. In the third part of the event Asst. Prof. Deniz Tunçer talked about the artistic lives and achievements of young female musicians such as Hande Küden, Tülay Uyar Hatip, Dilara Baştar and Nisan Ak, who have specialized in different fields and represented our country in important orchestras abroad.
