TURKISH MUSIC

Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Department of Turkish Music brought together the students of the preschool operating under Yıldırım Beyazıt Secondary School in our university with music. Students aged between 36-72 months were accompanied by the teachers of the kindergarten in the event organized on 05.04.2024 at K Block, North Campus of our university,

During the event, our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz TUNÇER taught some movement, rhythm, and musical concepts using the Dalcroze Method. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seda TÜFEKÇİOĞLU introduced the qanun instrument and then everyone performed the piece “Üsküdar’a Gider İken” accompanied by qanun and piano.
